Wikimedia Commons

Search Wikimedia Commons for openly licensed figures: labelled anatomy plates (including the complete public-domain 1918 Gray's Anatomy), histology and micrographs, physiology and pathway diagrams, maps, and photographs. Every result is public domain, CC0, CC BY or CC BY-SA and carries the licence, the author, the file page to cite, and a direct image URL (metadata.imageUrl) — pass that URL to render_figure with the attribution and licence so the plate appears in the answer. Use when a picture would teach better than prose: anatomy and histology questions, 'show me', 'label', 'diagram of'. Not a source of facts on its own — cite OpenStax, Bookshelf or PubMed for the text.
