Get a food constituent/chemical from FooDB (the largest food-chemical database) by its FooDB compound id (e.g. 'FDB000004'). Returns name, description of food occurrence, CAS number, molecular formula, SMILES/InChI/InChIKey, logP, solubility, and cross-references (HMDB, KEGG, PubChem, ChEBI). Complements nutrient databases (USDA FoodData Central) by covering the phytochemicals/metabolites that make up food. Use for food-metabolomics and to bridge a FooDB id to structure and other databases. FooDB has no name-search API; query by FDB id. No API key required.
