I'll model the flange as three fused/cut solids with one reusable bolt-hole cylinder translated to six positions on the 95 mm bolt circle.
Here's the flange model. It's being built in the card now — check the measured size, volume and round-face count against the spec below on the next turn.
How it's constructed
- Plate: 120 mm dia × 10 mm thick (z 0–10).
- Raised face: 80 mm dia × 2 mm tall, fused on top (z 10–12).
- Bore: 50 mm dia cut straight through the full 12 mm stack.
- Bolt holes: one 9 mm cylinder defined once, then
.translate()d to the six positions on the 95 mm bolt circle (0°, 60°, 120°, 180°, 240°, 300°) and removed with a singlecut(holes)call passing the list.
What to verify on the card
- Bounding box ≈ 120 × 120 × 12 mm (raised face adds the 2 mm).
- Bore ⌀50, raised face ⌀80, six holes ⌀9 — total 7 round faces.
- Holes at radius 47.5 → radially 43–52 mm: they clear the raised face (⌀80) and stay inside the ⌀120 rim. Correct by construction.
Downloads: use STEP in SolidWorks (exact solid, mm units preserved); STL for printing; SVG for the drawing views if you want a quick 2D check.
One assumption worth stating: the origin (0,0,0) is the centre of the flange's bottom face, so the plate sits at z 0–10 and the raised face at 10–12. If your SolidWorks assembly expects the mating (bottom) face on a different datum, easiest is a small mate offset there rather than re-modelling.
